Rules of entry on-air for New Year, New York
- The New Year, New York competition starts in play on Pulse 1 from Monday 8th January and will continue to be played until a winner is found
- Each day Monday to Friday The New Year, New York competition will be played a minimum of three times per day, this could occur at any time throughout the day between 0600 – 1900 each day
- Listeners must wait for the on-air presenter to invite calls e.g. “call now to play on 01274 200 200”. The contest is closed until the live presenter invites calls and entries will not be considered
- To enter you must be over 18 years of age
- To play you must call the studio number on 01274 200 200 when the competition round commences and the on-air presenter has asked for callers
- After inviting callers, the Pulse 1 on-air will select a line at random and that caller will be taken to air to play
- Only one caller can play in each round and this caller will be broadcast on-air. By entering the competition, you are giving your consent to be featured on air
- To win you must be selected at random to play on-air and then correctly identify the 5 songs and 5 artists in the correct order as they appear within the audio clip
- Both the songs and artists names must be given in full. No alterations of the songs/artists will be accepted/can be said
- If you are selected to play on-air and then guess the 5 songs and artists to win a trip to New York for two people
- Prize details: Return flight for 2 people from Manchester to New York, 3 nights stay in a 4 star central New York Hotel. Holiday must be taken before the 11th March 2018. Prize value is £1,500, any upgrades and holiday extras above this amount are the responsibility of the winner
- Winner’s details will be passed onto our chosen travel operator so that the booking can be processed.
- All passengers must have to have a valid passport, are responsible for arranging their own travel insurance and must arrange their own visa for entry into the USA.
- Only one person will win the trip to New York.
- Judges decision will be final on the winner
- Pulse 1 will then be in contact to confirm prize details and pass your details onto our holiday provider to make further arrangements
- Prize is as stated above and no cash or alternative is offered
- Pulse 1 reserves the right to give clues as to the identity of the songs/artists when they see fit. This decision will be at Pulse 1’s discretion. Any clues given will be made clear on-air and repeated regularly throughout the day.
- All winners must agree to being filmed and agree to photographs and names being used for promotional purposes
- Any contestants not adhering to the T&C’s will result in disqualification
- No employees of the Kirkgate Centre, Pulse 1 or Wireless Group are able to enter either the on-air, online or in-store competition
- You cannot enter this contest online or by any other methods than outlined above
Rules of entry for spot prizes which can be won on site at Kirkgate Shopping Centre
- There will be an additional chance to win spot prizes on site at The Kirkgate Centre with our Pulse 1 promotional team on Saturday the 13th, 20th and 27th January 2018.
- You can enter by registering your details with the Pulse 1 team between the hours of 11am – 3pm each of the above mentioned Saturdays,
- To enter you must be over 18 years of age
- From all the correct entries in-store and online, Pulse 1 will randomly select a winner who will win one of our spot prizes.
- Prize is a Family Tablet, provided by O2 Bradford
- Only one person can win each prize
- Judges decision will be final on the winner
- No cash or alternatives offered
